Russ Lewell is a "return" employee to Ecolab. After being with the company for 11 years, he took a two-year unrelated career break, before returning to the company three years ago.

Russ came to the company with a standard state education, and is now working towards a Marketing Diploma with the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

His professional background is sales and field sales management dealing with both direct customers and those accessed through various channel partners. He entered marketing through working with a radio station, and further developed his marketing skills in his return job at Ecolab.

"I have enjoyed a challenging career path with Ecolab, because if you are capable and willing, you will be given responsibility and reward," says Russ. "Ecolab is interested in developing people within the organisation, and supporting that with professional training if appropriate."

Russ believes that Ecolab is a real "people business". Associates and customers alike are well regarded and seen as important to the fulfillment of the business objective.

"We are also a successful and ambitious international organisation, which means more future opportunities, both here and elsewhere."
